Documentation Teams and clients

Team and permissions

Roles give a person a starting set of permissions. You can add or remove single permissions for people and agents.

Roles

  1. Owner: everything, including billing, people and agents. Owners use two-factor authentication.
  2. Administrator: domains, changes and settings; not people, agents or billing.
  3. Viewer: reads reports, either for every domain including future ones, or only the domains you choose.

Permissions

Each permission names one right, such as View reports, Prepare changes, Approve changes or Apply approved changes. Preparing, approving and applying stay separate, so one person or agent cannot push a change alone unless you allow it. Open a person's access under Team & sharing to see each permission, where it applies and where it came from.

Changing access

Removing a permission takes effect at once and cancels that person's pending approvals when it was approval rights. Changes already applied stay applied. SendBop refuses a change that would leave no owner able to manage the account and its members.

Free plan

The free plan includes five team members. Client contacts invited to approve their own domains do not count.
